Launched on December 17, 2011, from the French Guiana Space Center using a Soyuz-ST-A launch vehicle, it was manufactured by ASTT and features the Astrosat-1000 configuration. The satellite has dimensions of 4 meters in length, 2 meters in diameter, and an 8-meter span with a dry mass of 895 kilograms.
