Launched on December 17, 2010, from Xichang Satellite Launch Center (XICLF) using the Chang Zheng 3A launch vehicle, it has a configuration based on the DFH-3 Bus manufactured by CAST. The satellite weighs 2300 kg at launch with a dry mass of 1300 kg and measures 3 meters in length, 1.7 meters in diameter, and spans up to 18 meters when its solar arrays are deployed. Equipped with two deployable solar arrays and batteries for power generation, it is designed to have an operational lifetime of 8 years.
