MERIDIAN 3, also known as Meridian No. 13L, is a communication satellite launched by Russia on November 2, 2010, from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome LC43/4 launch pad using a Soyuz-2-1A launch vehicle. It has dimensions of 4 meters in length and 2 meters in diameter with a span of 10 meters. The satellite is equipped with 2 deployable solar arrays and batteries for power, and it weighs approximately 2,000 kg at launch.
