BEIDOU-2 G1, also known as Beidou DW 3, is a navigation satellite launched by CNSA on January 16, 2010, from Xichang Satellite Launch Center (LC2) using the Chang Zheng 3C launch vehicle. The spacecraft measures 3 meters in length with a diameter of 1.7 meters and spans 18 meters when its solar arrays are deployed. It has a dry mass of 1700 kilograms and launched with a total mass of 3060 kilograms. Equipped with two deployable solar arrays and batteries, BEIDOU-2 G1 is powered by an FY-25 motor and was manufactured by CAST.
