STS 129 was a crewed spacecraft mission identified by NORAD_CAT_ID 36094 and OBJECT_ID 2009-062A, launched on November 16, 2009, from LC39A at the Kennedy Space Center using a Space Shuttle as the launch vehicle. The spacecraft, known also as Atlantis (STS-129), is a winged orbiter with dimensions of 37.3 meters in length and span, and a diameter of 23.8 meters. It had a dry mass of 86,949 kg and was manufactured by BNAP for the US. The spacecraft's power system consisted of fuel cells and batteries, and it was operated by JSC with an equipment payload designated OV-104. Its purpose was to serve as a crewed spacecraft equipped with two OME (AJ10-190) motors.
