Summary
TELSTAR 11N, also known as Telstar 11N, is a communication satellite operated by TSKY and manufactured by LOR (Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems). Launched on February 26, 2009, from the Tyler Satellite Launch Complex (TYMSC) using a Zenit-3SLB launch vehicle, it has a dry mass of 2000 kg and was designed for a 15-year mission lifespan. Equipped with 39 high-power Ku-band transponders, TELSTAR 11N is configured in the SSL-1300LL platform (based on FS-1300 bus) and measures 5.6 meters in length, 2.8 meters in diameter, and has a span of 31 meters due to its solar arrays. The satellite generates power from two deployable solar arrays complemented by batteries and features an R-4D-11-164 motor for propulsion. It is configured with a box shape augmented by two panels and has a radar cross-section (RCS) value of 17.6011 m².
