STS 122, also known as Atlantis (STS-122), is a US crewed spacecraft launched on February 7, 2008, from Launch Complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center using a Space Shuttle launch vehicle. The spacecraft has a winged orbiter configuration with dimensions of 37.3 meters in length and span, and a diameter of 23.8 meters.
