AGILE was a satellite launched by ASI on April 23, 2007, from SRILR using a PSLV launch vehicle. The spacecraft measured 1.6 meters in length, had a diameter of 2 meters, and spanned 2.6 meters. It utilized the MITA bus configuration and had a dry mass of 352 kilograms, which was also its launch mass. AGILE's mission focused on astronomy and gamma-ray observations, and it featured a fixed solar array with batteries for power supply. The satellite operated in space for two years, contributing to gamma-ray studies. Its shape consisted of a hexagonal cylinder with a panoramic design, providing significant surface area for solar panels or instruments.
