Summary
ST5-A, also known as ST-5 SC155, is a technology satellite owned by GSFC (Goddard Space Flight Center) and was launched on March 22, 2006, from the Wallops Research Airport using a Pegasus XL launch vehicle. The satellite has an octagonal prism shape with a span of 1 meter, length of 0.5 meters, and diameter of 0.5 meters. It weighs 25 kilograms both at launch and in dry mass condition. ST5-A is spin-stabilized and powered by solar cells and batteries.
