The XSS-11 (USA 165), designated by NORAD as CAT ID 28636 and identified as OBJECT_ID 2005-011A, is a spacecraft designed for Rendezvous Technology missions operated by the AFRL (Air Force Research Laboratory). Launched on April 11, 2005, from AFWTR SLC8 using a Minotaur I launch vehicle, XSS-11 has dimensions of approximately 1 meter in length and 0.6 meters in diameter with a span of 3 meters. It weighs 125 kilograms at launch and 100 kilograms when dry, manufactured by LMSSD/DENV. The spacecraft is equipped with two deployable fixed solar arrays and batteries for power supply. Its shape consists of a Box design plus two panels, and it has an RCS (Reaction Control System) value of 0.798. The XSS-11 was launched to test rendezvous technologies in space.
