PROGRESS-M 52 (also known as Progress M-52) is a cargo spacecraft launched on February 28, 2005, from Tyuratam Site (TYMSC), using the Soyuz-U-PVB launch vehicle. The satellite measures 7.9 meters in length and has a diameter of 2.7 meters with a span of 7.9 meters. It was manufactured by PROGT for RKKE and is equipped with two deployable fixed solar arrays and batteries, along with a motor type 11D428A. The spacecraft's dry mass is 4600 kilograms and its launch mass was 7260 kilograms. Its shape consists of a sphere plus cone plus cylinder with two panels. The mission purpose is to deliver cargo, and it carries the Progress 7K-TGM No. 352 payload.
