Summary
COSMOS 2400, also known as Kosmos-2400, is a military communication satellite launched by Russia on August 19, 2003, from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome LC132/1 launch pad using the Kosmos 11K65M launch vehicle. It has dimensions of 1.6 meters in length and 0.8 meters in diameter with a span of 7 meters due to its antenna deployment. The satellite carries the Strela-3 No. 153L payload for communication purposes, weighs 225 kilograms at launch, and is equipped with solar cells and batteries for power supply.
