COSMOS 2397 (Kosmos-2397) is an early warning satellite launched on April 24, 2003, from Tyuratam Launch Complex using a Proton-K/DM-2 launch vehicle. The spacecraft measures 5 meters in length with a diameter of 2 meters and a span of 10 meters when its solar arrays are deployed. It has a dry mass of 2100 kg and a launch mass of 2200 kg.
