COSMOS 2377 (also known as Kosmos-2377) is a reconnaissance satellite launched by Russia on May 29, 2001, from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome using the Soyuz-U-PVB launch vehicle. The spacecraft measures 6.3 meters in length and has a diameter of 2.7 meters with a span of 6.3 meters. It has a dry mass of 2886 kilograms and was launched with the same mass. Equipped with a Yantar Bus, it consists of a main reentry module along with two small reentry capsules for film return type reconnaissance. The mission is operated by VKSR (Russian Space Forces) and its payload is known as Kobal't No. 554. The satellite uses two deployable solar arrays and batteries for power generation. Its shape is cylindrical with two pans, and it was manufactured by PROGT.
