The PROGRESS-M 34 satellite, also known as Progress M-34, is a cargo spacecraft launched on April 6, 1997, from the Tyuratam Site Launch Pad LC1 using a Soyuz-U launch vehicle. It has dimensions of 7.9 meters in length and 2.7 meters in diameter with a span also measuring 7.9 meters. The satellite's dry mass is 6,220 kilograms while its launch mass was 7,156 kilograms. Manufactured by RKKE, the spacecraft utilizes a configuration known as 7K-TGM for its mission. Its power system consists of two deployable fixed solar arrays and batteries. The shape of the satellite includes components like sphere, cone, cylinder, and pan. It is equipped with a KTDU-80 (S5.80) motor and has an RCS value of 51.4154.
