STS 83, also known as Columbia (STS-83), is a winged orbiter spacecraft with an identification number NORAD_CAT_ID 24755 and OBJECT_ID 1997-013A. Launched on April 4, 1997, from the Kennedy Space Center's LC39A launch pad using a Space Shuttle, it has dimensions of 37.3 meters in length and span, with a diameter of 23.8 meters. The spacecraft has a dry mass of 94,277 kilograms and was launched at a mass of 98,640 kilograms.
