DIRECTV 6 (also known as TEMPO 2) is a communication satellite launched by TEMPO on March 8, 1997, from Launch Complex 36A at the Air Force Eastern Test Range using an Atlas IIA launch vehicle. The spacecraft measures 5 meters in length and has a diameter of 2.4 meters with a span of 27.3 meters when its solar arrays are deployed.
