COSMOS 2314 (also known as Kosmos-2314) is a reconnaissance satellite launched by Russia on June 28, 1995, from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome using a Soyuz-U-PVB launch vehicle. The spacecraft, built by TSSKB and operated by VKS, features a Yantar'-4K2 bus with a main reentry module and two small reentry capsules for returning film-based reconnaissance imagery to Earth. It has dimensions of 6.3 meters in length, 2.7 meters in diameter, and spans 6.3 meters, with both launch mass and dry mass at 2886 kg. The satellite is powered by two deployable solar arrays and batteries. Its shape consists of a cylindrical body with two panels.
