STS 59, also known as Endeavour (STS-59), is a winged orbiter spacecraft manufactured by RWI and operated by JSC as part of the US crewed Space Shuttle program. Launched on April 9, 1994, from LC39A at AFETR using a Space Shuttle launch vehicle, this satellite has dimensions measuring 37.3 meters in length and span with a diameter of 23.8 meters. It had a dry mass of 88,169 kilograms and launched with a total mass of 95,056 kilograms. STS 59 is equipped with two OME (AJ10-190) motors for propulsion and utilizes fuel cells and batteries as power sources. The satellite's shape consists of a box design augmented by wings and fins.
