Summary
COSMOS 2250 (also known as Kosmos-2250) is a military communication satellite launched by Russia on May 11, 1993, from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome LC32/1 launch pad using the Tsiklon-3 launch vehicle. The spacecraft, manufactured by NPOPM and operated by VKS (Russian Air Force), measures 1.6 meters in length with a diameter of 0.8 meters and spans 7 meters when fully deployed. It has a dry mass of 225 kilograms, which is the same as its launch mass. The satellite's power supply consists of solar cells and batteries. Its shape is cylindrical with antennas attached.
