Summary
COSMOS 2132 (also known as Kosmos-2132) is a military communication satellite launched on February 12, 1991, from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome LC133/3 launch pad using the Kosmos 11K65M launch vehicle. It has dimensions of 0.8 meters in length and diameter, and its dry mass is 60 kg, which is also its launch mass. The satellite's mission lasted for approximately six months and was equipped with solar cells and batteries for power supply. Its payload consisted of a Strela-1M Blok 45 No. 8 communication system. Manufactured by NPOPM in the Soviet Union, COSMOS 2132 was designed to support military communication purposes.
