COSMOS 2099 (also known as Kosmos-2099) is a reconnaissance satellite launched on August 31, 1990, from the Plesetsk launch site using Soyuz-U as the launch vehicle. It was manufactured by TSSKB and has a configuration based on the Zenit bus with an Oblik payload designated No. 815.
