HAGOROMO, also known as Hagoromo, is a subsatellite for lunar orbit launched on January 24, 1990, from the Kagoshima Space Center (KSCUT) using the Mu-3S-II launch vehicle. The satellite was manufactured by NEC and operated under ISASS ownership. With dimensions of 0.4 meters in length, diameter, and span, HAGOROMO had a dry mass of 8 kilograms and a launch mass of 8 kilograms as well. It was equipped with solar cells and batteries for power supply and carried out its mission using the KM-L kick motor. The satellite's shape is described as polyhedral.
