COSMOS 2050 (also known as Kosmos-2050) is an early warning satellite launched on November 23, 1989, from the PLMSC launch site using a Molniya 8K78M launch vehicle. Manufactured by NPOL/KOMET and owned by PVO, it has dimensions of 4 meters in length, 2 meters in diameter, and spans 5 meters when its two deployable fixed solar arrays are extended.
