COSMOS 1485, also known as Kosmos-1485, is a reconnaissance satellite launched on July 26, 1983, from the Plesetsk Missile and Space Complex using a Soyuz-U launch vehicle. The spacecraft has a Zenit bus configuration with dimensions of 6 meters in length and 2.2 meters in diameter, featuring a sphere plus DCone shape design. It was manufactured by TSSKB for GUKOS and had a dry mass of 2655 kg, powered by batteries. Equipped with the Argon No. 74L payload, its mission focused on photographic reconnaissance with film return capability. The satellite's lifetime was approximately 14 days.
