COSMOS 1481, also known as Kosmos-1481, is an early warning satellite launched by the Soviet Union on July 8, 1983, from Plesetsk Cosmodrome (Launch Pad LC43/3) using a Molniya 8K78M launch vehicle. The spacecraft measures 4 meters in length with a diameter of 2 meters and spans 5 meters when its deployable fixed solar arrays are extended. It has a dry mass of 1,150 kilograms and was manufactured by NPOL/KOMET for the PVO (Soviet Air Defense Forces).
