ISKRA 3, also known as Iskra-3, is an amateur radio communication satellite launched on April 19, 1982, from Tyuratam Space Center LC1 using a Soyuz-U launch vehicle. It was manufactured by MAIO and owned by MAIO/MOM. The spacecraft measures 1 meter in length with a diameter of 0.3 meters and has a dry mass of 28 kilograms, the same as its launch mass. ISKRA 3 is cylindrical in shape and equipped with solar cells and batteries for power supply. Its mission was to support amateur radio communication, featuring RK-03 (I-6) payload equipment. The satellite became stable on November 2, 1982.
