COSMOS 1411, also known as Kosmos-1411, is a reconnaissance satellite launched by the Soviet Union on September 30, 1982. It was designed for photo reconnaissance and equipped with the Argon No. 62L payload. The satellite has a Zenit bus configuration with dimensions of 6 meters in length and 2.2 meters in diameter, and its shape is described as a sphere plus a DCone. Weighing 2655 kilograms at launch, it was powered by batteries. Launched from the PLMSC site on LC16/2 using a Soyuz-U launch vehicle, COSMOS 1411 had a short operational lifetime of only 14 days. The satellite was manufactured by TSSKB and owned by GUKOS, with its mission focusing on photo reconnaissance through film return type technology.
