COSMOS 1356 (also known as Kosmos-1356) is a Tselina-D satellite launched on May 5, 1982, from the PLMSC launch site using the Vostok 8A92M launch vehicle. The spacecraft has dimensions of 3.2 meters in length and 1.3 meters in diameter with a span of 13.1 meters. It weighs 1750 kilograms at launch and has a dry mass of the same amount. The satellite is equipped with two deployable solar arrays and batteries for power supply. Its shape consists of a cylinder with antennas, designed primarily for SIGINT (Signal Intelligence) purposes.
