COSMOS 1329, also known as Kosmos-1329, is a reconnaissance satellite launched by GUKOS on December 4, 1981, from the Tyuratam Space Center (TYMSC) using Soyuz-U launch vehicle. It has a Zenit bus configuration and uses an Argon No. 56L payload for photo reconnaissance with film return capability. The satellite is powered by batteries and has dimensions of 6 meters in length, 2.2 meters in diameter, and spans 6 meters. Its shape is described as a sphere plus a DCone, and it carries two types of motors: 11D82M and S5.120 (maneuver module). The satellite's dry mass and launch mass are both 2655 kilograms. It was manufactured by TSSKB for the Soviet Union (SU) and operated for a lifetime of 14 days.
