VENERA 13 BUS (also known as Venera-13) is a Venus orbiter and lander satellite launched by the Soviet Union on October 30, 1981, from Tyuratam Space Center using LC200/40 launch pad with a Proton-K/D-1 launch vehicle. The spacecraft has dimensions of 5 meters in length, 2.5 meters in diameter, and a span of 9 meters. It had a dry mass of 2500 kilograms and a launch mass of 2718 kilograms.
