COSMOS 1220 (also known as Kosmos-1220) is a satellite launched by the Soviet Union on November 4, 1980, from the Tysylmsk site using the Tsiklon-2 launch vehicle. The spacecraft has a cylindrical shape with two panels and measures 10 meters in length with a diameter of 1.3 meters and spans 17 meters when deployed.
