COSMOS 1184 (also known as Kosmos-1184) is a satellite from the Tselina-D bus series launched by the Soviet Union on June 4, 1980, from the PLMSC launch site using a Vostok 8A92M launch vehicle. The spacecraft has dimensions of 3.2 meters in length, 1.3 meters in diameter, and spans 13.1 meters with its antennas extended. It weighs 1750 kilograms both at launch and dry mass. Manufactured by YUZH, the satellite was equipped with the Ikar No. 24L payload and has a cylindrical shape with antenna arrays. The reflective surface area (RCS) is 11.973 square meters. It was operated by the GRU military intelligence agency for undisclosed purposes.
